This poster was suitable for teaching students how much hygiene is important and how to practice it.This poster can be used by teachers in classroom and follow the steps for a plan. It included ideas for encouraging students to take care of themselves like experiments for them and also lectures for further awareness of hygiene.

Games and Education

 Nearpod

1. It’s a fully presentation with activities, quizzes, small Padlet , add videos that are suitable for questions and interactive .
2. You put a code to enter the game
3. 40 people can join
4.  can choose the theme that I want ( teacher)
5. I can pose the game for discussion with my students
6. Every student should choose his/her own character to play the game
7. The game starts with an MCQ question for the students to answer
8. All students are able to answer and the teacher can see who answered

10. And after all answer the question, the correct one will appear to them

1. Teacher can choose when she creates the quiz ( infographics, gamification )
2. Teacher can give students the same questions and information in a personal manner
3. Students will play the game by themselves and they will discover the right and wrong answers
4. In the Gamification part: their is the quizzes each one with a different content ( flip cards, wheels ..)
5. You can choose a board Game and customize for your own classroom ( Monopoly, snake ladder , Escape Room )
6. Helps in communicating and thinking out of the box

Digital Escape Room

1. A presentation on Google slide with many clickable links and clues
2. Student can click on a link to solve clues
3. In the google form the student will not be able to proceed unless they solve the correct answers
4. Once the student solve the correct answer he will be able to proceed for the next level
5. All the clues that the teacher apply to the game is based on what students will talk about and they will discover the roles by themselves instead the teacher telling them what to do. 

These 3 Games mentioned are very helpful for engaging students especially in online classess, all have the same idea for presenting questions that could be direct or critical thinking questions with a specific time which give them Competence and excitment especially the last game ( Digital escape room) it has an interesting idea for answering the questions. This shows students that game can be fun and beneficial at the same time and introduce them to games that they could play in their free time instead of wasting time .

3 Other Games for students:

1. Adding Fractions with Like Denominator: Jungle Edition

Its a game in Math subject for Grade 4, where kids can swing in the jungle in this playful game that teaches adding fractions like Denominator with sounds and engaging animations making math interesting for kids.

    2. Nouns and Verbs Sort:

Designed for students in grade 2 teaches key grammar skills. students learn the definition of nouns and verbs and they are asked to help characters to find nouns and verbs in a vending machine and practice reading and writing skills.

   3. Water Rafting: Adding Integers

Learners practice adding positive and negative integers in mathfilled, water-rafting adventure this game is an engaging way to help seventh grade students in master operations with integers.

Chanllenges in learning/ teaching online

 Live lectures present barriers that may make it challenging for students to acquire and comprehend the information presented. 

1. Students may be tired, distracted, and struggling to stay attentive. 
2.  The information delivered to students may be too fast or too slow. 
3.  Sometimes students suffer from distractions and lack of engagement or behavior issues
4. Limited student interaction and low levels of participation.
5. Students do not have to think for themelves.

Pandemic stress 

It is also frustrating as a teacher to spend significant time covering content and processes for students and realize a large amount of students does not understand the material.

1. Classroom managemet issues and cannot control the pace of learning
2. Lack of knowledge of information technology
3. Not ready to adapt new changes when teaching students
4. Difficult to motivate students
5. Required more time to in preparing course content. 

What students could be taught when working online to avoid problems

Want an active and engaged online learning? Practice and training for the students in using technology is the key!

  

1. Use the tools provided by the school to communicate with teachers (Gmail)
2. How to use Google Classroom, Forms, Doc, Webinar, Blog...
3. How they can pause, rewind, rewatch things.
4. Educate them on how to be safe while exploring the world wide web ( safety guidelines).
5. Explain to students that Plagiarism will not be tollerated.
6. Teach students basic technical skills.

Integrating technology into education

 The rapid expantion of technology made us as teachers and educaters practice digital softwares. 

In my experience as a teacher, technology incorporated teaching assisted me in enhancing my instructional practices effectively making my class exciting and interactive and keeping my students motivated. As a biology teacher I always imagine making my own class very interesting for my educators giving them the '' Nature, Plant'' environment or when talking about animals, human body... using my personal touches with the help of technology( Projector, Sounds, Animations, Videos..)

In my opinion it isn't necesary to make teaching always ''Technological'' since we can never dispense or ignore the traditional teaching such as ( reading stories, books, discussions, playing and exploring in nature ...) 

A teaching/ learning experience I wont forget

In my Elementary years in learning, my school decided for all the elementary students which we were the highest class level in the school to help and support the small students ( like the 1st and 2nd classes) in their learning and homework duties, we would work on them to improve their understanding in case they have difficulties in specific subjects.

I had the opportunity to help a small student to read and write ( she was in Grade 1 ) and she still didn't know how to read and write properly. It was a difficult experience since the student was very shy to even speak with others since her psychological state was not very good because of her father being past away.

With time and with the help of the school in supporting the child and she being used to me, she finally started to respond with me and slowly learned how to hold a pen and write her name.💗

 1- What kind of skills I am learning in this course?

In this course I learned how to use and customize my own educational websites, tests and how to work collaboratively with my group work classmates.

In addition my critical thinking improved and also my creatvity when I designed my blog, exams, presentations...

- What do I find useful in this course?

In this course I became more familiar and skillful in using technology for my educational journey and discovered for every topic what is more suitable for presenting it .

In this course I found it interesting when we learned how to work for the benefit of students and teachers, what are the suitable tools to help each one of them to have a fruitful learning and teaching experience. 

3- What I wish was different in this course?

It would be good to make my own blog according to my interests and not about education. And to see other teacher's work when they made different tasks in this course so we can learn from them.
